This 43rd edition of the COMPENDIUM OF TEXAS COLLEGES AND FINANCIAL AID CALENDAR is dedicated to Mr. Michael J. Balint who authored this booklet, first published in 1967. Mr. Balint made many valuable contributions to the programs of the Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation during his tenure and served as Executive Director for 20 years until his retirement in 1997.
