The Army Reserve and the Montgomery GI Bill offer educational benefits to reserve members. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien, 17 - 41 years of age and a high school graduate or graduating senior able to meet moral, mental and physical requirements for enlistment in the Army Reserve.

After completion of Initial Active Duty Training and enrollment in a college or vo-tech program approved by the Veterans' Administration, full-time students may qualify for up to $329.00 per month.
