A five-year 100% highly competitive cooperative education program is available for high school graduates interested in a bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or management. Students alternate 11 week periods of academics with 12 weeks of co-op work experience. Following academic acceptance, KU helps students obtain co-op employment with a corporate employer; over 5 years average earnings are $40,000-$65,000. The 2009-2010 tuition: $27,584; room and board: $6,182; books and supplies: $1,099. Students are encouraged to apply early in their senior year.
