Fifty $1,500 awards per year available to members or the son or daughter of a member or deceased member of the Order. The member must be in good standing, or if deceased, must have been in good standing at the time of his death. Two of the scholarships are available to members of the Columbian Squires. The scholarships begin with the freshman year and are renewable each year for four years. The scholarships are to be used at a Catholic college of the student's choice. Selection is based on academic excellence including a review of secondary school record, class rank, and the results of aptitude test scores.
