The purpose of these scholarship programs is to help students prepare for careers in the plumbing-heating-cooling (p-h-c) profession. Scholarships are available to students who are enrolled in a full-time certificate or degree program with a major directly related to the p-h-c profession in: (1) a PHCC- approved plumbing or HVAC apprenticeship program; (2) an accredited two-year community college, technical college or trade school; or (3) an accredited four-year college or university. Students enrolled in a PHCC-approved apprenticeship program must also be working full-time for a licensed plumbing or HVAC contractor who is a member of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors National Association. PHCC Educational Foundation Scholarships each year, the PHCC Educational Foundation Scholarship Committee awards two $3,000 scholarships ($750 per semester, for up to two years of study) to students attending an accredited two-year technical college, community college, or trade school; and three $12,000 scholarships ($1,500 per semester, for up to four years of study) to students attending an accredited four-year college or university.

PHCC Educational Foundation Need-Based Scholarship each year, the PHCC Educational Foundation awards one need-based scholarship in the amount of $2,500 to a student enrolled in a PHCC-approved apprenticeship program, an accredited two-year technical college, community college, or trade school, or an accredited four-year college/university. This is a one-time award and may be used for tuition and required fees during one semester of study or over the course of several semesters. Funds for this scholarship are provided by the PHCC Past National Officers.
