Scholarship available for son, daughter or legally adopted child of an active, retired or deceased letter carrier NALC member who is or was a member in good standing for at least one year prior to student making application. Stepchildren are eligible if they live with the letter carrier in a regular parent-child relationship. Applicant must plan to attend an accredited college. Only high school seniors may apply. Rules and application governing the 2009-2010 competition will be published in the July through December issues of the Postal Record, the official NALC magazine. Applicant must also forward a copy of original ACT or SAT test results by March 31.
